Introduction
W-B92 Webster Hardness Tester for stainless steel is a portable instrument which can perform on-site hardness testing on soft steel. By a quick and easy test, the hardness value can be read out directly with a simple clamp.
Suitable for testing stainless steel and soft steel materials as well as testing the cold-rolled steel strips, hot-rolled sheets and galvanized sheets etc., especially suitable for a fast and nondestructive qualification inspection of the product hardness on the spot of production, sales and construction.
The testing range of W-B92 type is equivalent to that of Rockwell hardness 48-100HRB, which covers most of the common soft steels. Comparison test shows that there is the approximate linear relation between the test values of W-B92 type and HRB Rockwell hardness values. W-B92 type of Webster hardness tester for stainless steel can be used as the portable HRB Rockwell hardness tester.
