Introduction
The Portable Small Rockwell Hardness Tester is designed on the basic principle of Rockwell hardness testing. The testing principle and accuracy comply with ISO6508 and ASTM E110. Tested by China National Metrology Institute with the error less than 1.5HRC, same as the bench type tester.
Miniaturization of Rockwell hardness tester, the smallest model weighs only 0.8kg and the operation is similar to that of a micrometer.
The indentations made by this Rockwell hardness tester are small, which can be used to test the work pieces directly as a non-destructive test.
APPLICATION: The tester can be used to test piece by piece the finished and semi-finished work pieces produced in batch at production sites, sales fields and finished product warehouses. They are also suitable for testing many kinds of thin, small,long and irregular parts that can not be tested by the bench type.
TEST SCOPE: from very soft metals like aluminum, lead and tin; medium hard aluminum alloy, copper, copper alloy, soft steel and stainless steel; to very hard alloy steels, carburizing steels and carbides etc., covering almost all common metals.
